Chinese Evergreen

One of the easiest houseplants to grow.  Dramatically variegated leaves can brighten up a dark area.  Up to 2 to 3 feet tall.  Easy.

Corn Plant

Good vertical accents for low to medium light.  Variegated leaves brighten up a dark area.  Be careful when repotting because these plants have fragile roots.  Don’t let sit in water.  Up to 8 feet tall.  Easy.

Low maintenance for low light areas.  Leaves can be dark green, or have white or yellow stripes.  Never let sit in water.  Usually 3 feet is maximum height.  Occasionally tree form plants are available.  Easy.

Dumb Cane

These beautiful plants have large leaves with strong white or yellow variegation.  Easy to grow.  Needs warm temperatures and good drainage.  Not a good plant for homes with pets or small children because they are poisonous.

Peace Lily

Peace lilies are easy to grow but need to be watered frequently.  They have tall white flowers called “spaths” that grow above dark green leaves. The variety called Domino has variegated leaves.

This wide group of plants are all easy care.  The heart leaf philodendron is perfect for spilling out of baskets or climbing up poles.  The Xanadu variety has deeply cut leaves that add a tropical feel to low light areas.  Autumn and Moonlight have colorful leaves and prefer medium light.

This easy to grow plant has green or variegated leaves and can be grown in a pot, hanging basket, or climbing up a pole.  Good for small or large pots.
